Project Overview
BR Creators built Bethak as more than just a reading platform. With built-in text-to-speech technology, users can listen to Gazals and Shayari read aloud with natural pronunciation. The multi-language support allows content to be presented in its original language (Urdu, Hindi) with translation support — users can translate pieces into their preferred language, making this rich literary tradition accessible to a global audience.
Content is organized into curated collections (Love, Sadness, Life, Philosophy, Devotion, etc.) and browsable categories, making it easy to discover poetry that matches the reader's mood and interest. The platform celebrates the timeless beauty of Gazal and Shayari in a modern, elegant digital experience.

Preserving literary aesthetics — Gazal and Shayari have a deeply emotional, artistic quality. The platform design needed to honor this aesthetic rather than presenting poetry like generic blog posts
Multi-language complexity — Content exists in Urdu, Hindi, and other languages with different scripts (Devanagari, Nastaliq). The platform needed proper rendering and typography for each
Text-to-speech quality — Automated speech for poetry needs to sound natural and expressive, not robotic. Pronunciation of Urdu/Hindi words and poetic meter required careful implementation
